Community Guidelines

Last updated: September 10, 2026 · PolyLife, operated by Patrick Curl.

PolyLife is a home for people practicing ethical non-monogamy. These Community Guidelines are part of our Terms of Service and set the safety rules everyone must follow. Breaking them can cost you your account — and some violations are reported to law enforcement.

The basics

You must be 18 or older to be here, hold one account, and be honest about who you are. Real photos, real details, no impersonation.

Treat every member with respect. PolyLife is built on consent, honesty, and communication — the same values that make ethical non-monogamy work.

Consent is everything

Only interact with people who want to interact with you. Get clear, enthusiastic consent, respect a no the first time, and never pressure, coerce, guilt, or manipulate anyone into contact, meeting, or any activity.

Do not share anyone's private messages, images, or personal information without their permission.

Zero tolerance — human trafficking

Human trafficking and trafficking in persons are absolutely prohibited on PolyLife. This includes recruiting, harboring, transporting, advertising, arranging, or facilitating any person for the purpose of sexual exploitation, forced labor, or servitude.

We report suspected trafficking to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) where applicable and to law enforcement, and we permanently remove the accounts involved.

Zero tolerance — violence and sexual violence

Violence and sexual violence are strictly prohibited on PolyLife. This includes threats of violence, incitement, glorification, or promotion of violence, and any content or conduct that facilitates or depicts physical harm to another person.

Sexual violence is absolutely forbidden — including rape, sexual assault, any non-consensual sexual contact or activity, coercion or pressure into sexual activity, and any sexual conduct with a person who cannot or does not consent. This applies whether the target is a PolyLife member or anyone else. We permanently ban the accounts involved and report credible threats and offenses to law enforcement.

Zero tolerance — abuse and exploitation

You may not aid, abet, assist, encourage, solicit, promote, or facilitate the abuse, sexual exploitation, or exploitation of any person — whether or not they are a PolyLife member.

This includes coercion, blackmail or sextortion, non-consensual sharing of intimate images, and any attempt to exploit someone's vulnerability, dependency, or circumstances.

Zero tolerance — minors

PolyLife is strictly for adults. Any sexual content involving a minor (child sexual abuse material), any sexualization of a minor, and any attempt to contact, groom, or exploit a minor is absolutely prohibited.

We remove such content and conduct immediately, permanently ban the accounts involved, and report to NCMEC and law enforcement.

No commercial sexual activity

PolyLife is for genuine connection, not commerce. Prostitution, escort or sugar arrangements, and the exchange of sexual content, contact, or activity for money or anything of value are not allowed.

Do not use PolyLife to advertise, solicit, or sell sexual services or explicit content.

No harassment, hate, or threats

No harassment, stalking, bullying, threats, or intimidation. No hate speech or attacks based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, gender identity, or sexual orientation.

Do not send unsolicited explicit content.

Keep it lawful and authentic

Do not post illegal content, promote illegal activity, spam, scam, phish, or scrape the service. Do not upload images of anyone who has not agreed to appear, and do not depict non-consensual activity.

Do not misrepresent your identity, age, or intentions.

Staying safe off the app

Meet in public, tell a friend where you will be, and use the in-app safety check-ins. Take your time, and trust your instincts — you can unmatch or block anyone at any time.

PolyLife does not run criminal-background checks; you are responsible for your own interactions, online and offline.

Reporting and enforcement

If you see something that breaks these guidelines, report it in the app or email polylifedev@gmail.com. Reports are reviewed by our moderation team.

Depending on severity, we may warn you, remove content, limit features, or suspend your account. Violations of our zero-tolerance rules — trafficking, violence or sexual violence, exploitation or abuse, or anything involving minors — result in an immediate, permanent ban and, where appropriate, a report to NCMEC and law enforcement.

We may update these guidelines as our community grows; material changes will be posted here with a new date.
