Acceptable Use Policy

PolyLife is a dating and relationship app for consenting adults practicing ethical non-monogamy. This Acceptable Use Policy defines what you may and may not do on PolyLife. It applies to every member and to all content, messages, profiles, and payments. It supplements our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Child Safety Standards. Breaking these rules can result in content removal, suspension, a permanent ban, and — where the law requires — a report to the authorities.

Who may use PolyLife

PolyLife is strictly for people aged 18 or older. You must be legally able to enter contracts and must not be barred from using the service under any applicable law, and you may not use PolyLife if you are a registered sex offender.

Zero tolerance

The following are never permitted under any circumstances, and we report them to law enforcement and relevant authorities (including NCMEC) as required by law:

Any content or conduct involving minors. Child sexual abuse material (CSAM), sexualization of minors, or any attempt to contact, groom, or involve a person under 18 is prohibited and reported. See our Child Safety Standards.
Human trafficking and sexual exploitation. Any facilitation of trafficking, forced or coerced activity, or exploitation of another person.
Non-consensual sexual content. Sharing, threatening to share, or soliciting intimate images of anyone without their consent ("revenge porn"), voyeurism, or recordings made without consent.
Violence and sexual violence. Violence and sexual violence are strictly prohibited. This includes any threat of, incitement to, glorification of, promotion of, or facilitation of violence or physical harm; and any sexual violence — including rape, sexual assault, non-consensual sexual contact, coercion into sexual activity, or any sexual activity without enthusiastic, informed, ongoing consent.

No commercial sexual activity

PolyLife is for personal, non-commercial connection between consenting adults. You may not use PolyLife to offer, advertise, solicit, arrange, or pay for:

Escort services, prostitution, or any exchange of sexual acts for money, goods, drugs, or other consideration;
"Sugar" or other transactional/financial-support arrangements offered or sought in exchange for companionship or intimacy;
Pornography, camming, paid adult content, subscriptions to adult sites, or other commercial adult services;
Any other commercial sexual service, whether performed by you or a third party.

PolyLife is not a marketplace. Using it to sell, promote, or fundraise for any product or service — sexual or otherwise — is not allowed.

Prohibited content and conduct

Harassment and hate. Bullying, threats, stalking, or attacks on people based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, or serious disease.
Impersonation and deception. Fake or misleading profiles, catfishing, impersonating another person or PolyLife, or misrepresenting your age or identity.
Scams and fraud. Romance scams, phishing, financial or investment solicitations, requests for money or gift cards, chain messages, or any deceptive scheme.
Illegal goods and activity. Offering or seeking illegal drugs, weapons, stolen goods, counterfeit items, or any activity that violates the law.
Explicit and shocking content. Pornographic images, nudity in profile content, or gratuitously violent, gory, or shocking material.
Privacy violations. Posting or sharing anyone's private information without consent (doxxing), including another member's messages, photos, or contact details.
Spam and automation. Bulk or unsolicited messaging, scraping, bots, or automated access; probing, overloading, or interfering with the service or its security.
Malware. Uploading or linking to viruses, malicious code, or harmful files.

Consent and honesty

You agree to be truthful in your profile, to disclose your relationship situation honestly, to respect others' boundaries, and to obtain enthusiastic consent before any intimate interaction. Only post content you created or have permission to share, and only of people who have agreed to appear.

Payments

Payments on PolyLife are only for legitimate digital memberships and supporter tiers (for example, PolyLife Pro and the Founders Club) shown in the app. You may not use PolyLife's payment features for any prohibited purpose above, for money laundering, or for any transaction that is not the purchase of the digital service described. Do not attempt to solicit or send payments between members through the app.

Reporting and enforcement

Every profile and message can be reported in the app, and you can email us any time at polylifedev@gmail.com. We review reports and may remove content, limit features, suspend, or permanently ban accounts that break this policy, at our discretion and without notice where necessary to protect members. We cooperate with law enforcement and preserve and disclose information where the law requires. For the specific controls we use to identify and act on violations, see our Trust & Safety page.

Changes

We may update this policy as PolyLife grows or as the law changes. Material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above, and continued use of PolyLife means you accept the current policy.
